Bobby 'Bobcat' Eldridge

Bobby Bobcat Eldridge, 67, was born in Lake Jackson, Texas on August 15, 1949. His parents were James and Robbie. He died at the Palestine Regional Hospital on July 3, 2017. Funeral services have been set for 10 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas. Rev. Phil Smith will officiate and burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 5 PM until 7 PM.
Bobcat lived most of his life in Oakwood. He retired from Nucor Steel after twenty years. Then, he retired from TDCJ Boyd Unit after ten and one-half years. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Bobcat was preceded in death by his father, James and his brother, Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Dana; son, Jason and fiance, Lorie; his mother, Robbie and sister, Charlotte.
Serving as casket bearers are Crickette Thomas, Jeff Barnett, David Sigford, Nathanael Young, Cass Duck and Chris Agapiou. Honorary casket bearers are Philip Ivy, Pat Thurman, Jerry Thurman and Joe Radford.
Walters Buffalo Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
