Daniel E. "Danny" Svec

Daniel E. “Danny” Svec was born September 19, 1951 in Houston, Texas. He was raised by his mother, Marcelle (Richards) McMillon and his step-father, Roy Lee McMillon. Danny was a machinist and worked for B.J. Services in Houston, Conroe Machine in Conroe and Weatherford Oil Tool in Huntsville. He had lived just east of Centerville for ten years before his death on May 7, 2018. He enjoyed deer hunting and raising vegetables in his garden. He had a little farm business called B & G Farm and sold his products on the courthouse square in Centerville on Saturdays. He also had dogs that he enjoyed caring for.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; and by two of his brothers, Joe Svec and Roy Dean Svec. Surviving family includes his wife, Gail Svec of Centerville; son, Jeromy Svec (Kayla) of Dallas; step-daughters, Tina Abadowwd (Joey Bowman) of Lovelady, Vealea Kandell (Nebill) of Chicago, Petrina Newland of Maydell and Taphany Kennedy (Pete) of Florida; brother, Ernest Svec (Paulette) of Porter; sister, Janice Svec of Centerville; nephews, Joe Svec and Jeff Svec and grandchildren, Taya Svec, Rya Svec and Wyatt Svec.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
