Diana Lyn Dewey

Diana Lyn Dewey, age 70, of Marquez passed away at her home on Friday afternoon, September 16, 2016. She and her husband, Louis, had lived in Leon County , between Marquez and Concord, since 1983; having moved from Spring, Texas. Diana was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening. She had done some work as a florist. She also did some collecting of various items. Diana was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 20, 1946 to Alfred and Alice (Parson) Luke. Her parents preceded her in death.

Her surviving family includes her husband, Louis Dewey of Marquez; two sons, Stephen Dewey and his wife, Erica, of Spring and Brian Dewey of Port Acres; a daughter, Suzzette Shrimpton and her husband, Jerry, of Spring; a sister, Virginia Bowdre of Spring and five grandchildren, Justin Shrimpton, Allison Shrimpton, Abby Dewey, Emma Dewey and Zachary Kiser.
