Lisa Michelle Theiss

Funeral services for Lisa Michelle Theiss, age 55, of Normangee have been set for 11 AM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church near North Zulch. Pastor Randall Smith will officiate and burial will follow in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Madisonville Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Lisa Theiss was born on November 16, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Carol Lee (Bonin) and Harvey A. Theiss. Along with her parents, she moved to Normangee in 1974. All of her life, Lisa was restricted in her ability to care for herself. Her parents and her brother took good and loving care of her. They were always a very close family. Lisa had hobbies that she enjoyed, such as fishing, rooting for the Houston Astros Baseball Club and crushing soft drink cans. She became interested in making Christmas tree ornaments and in making jewelry. She actually started a small business selling the jewelry to others. Lisa was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Theiss; maternal grandparents, Lesa and Edna Bonin, whom she called PawPaw and Nanna" and paternal grandparents, Otto and Alvina Theiss. Lisa passed away in Conroe, Texas on April 27, 2017.

Surviving family includes her mother, Carol Theiss of Normangee; brother and sister-in-law, Lorne and Amanda Theiss of Normangee; nieces and nephews, Callie Theiss, Cavan Theiss, Allison Harris, Breely Theiss, Hunter Theiss and Adaline Theiss and a great nephew, Henry Harris.
