Montgomery Lynn Clift

Monty Clift, age 65, of Centerville, and formerly of Baytown, passed away on April 25, 2017 in Madisonville, Texas. A memorial service has been scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.

Montgomery Lynn Clift was born on August 16, 1951 in Baytown, Texas to Roy Lynn & Doris Elaine (Palka) Clift. He worked as an electrician in Baytown for most of his life. Monty enjoyed fishing, and his outgoing personality helped him gain many friends throughout the years. Monty had lived in Centerville for the past fifteen years.

Monty was preceded in death by his father, Pastor Roy Lynn Clift, sister, Cindy Kay Carpenter and brother, Tommy Clift. Surviving family members include son, Shawn Christopher Clift of Galveston; mother, Doris Elaine Clift of Centerville; brothers & sister-in-law, Thomas Bruce & Rhonda Lynette Clift of Kingwood and Roy Greer Buddy Milner, III of Baytown; sister & brother-in-law, Christine (Milner) & Rev. Tommy Campbell of Centerville and grandchildren, Morgan & Christopher Clift of Kemah, Texas.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas is in charge of all arrangements.
