Amy Dennis Coffey

Amy Dennis Coffey, 60, of Centerville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Amy was born to C.L. and Hattie (Brantley) Dennis in Springhill, Louisiana on June 11, 1957. Amy devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She taught school until she had children and then fulfilled her true desire of being a homemaker. She never met a stranger and loved nothing more than to have people into her home. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas

Amy was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her husband, Tim, of Centerville; daughter, Anna Lee Coffey, of Houston; two sons, Dennis and wife Jessica, of Centerville, and Daniel and wife Jillian, of College Station; her brother Todd and wife Karen Dennis, of Maumelle, AR; step-father, AW Goff, of Russellville, AR; step-sister, Paula McNew and two step-brothers, Wayne (Emily) Goff and David (Paula) Goff. Amy had 5 grandchildren, Cole, Hallie Jane, Harper, Hattie, and Raleigh, who were her pride and joy.

There will be a viewing at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., and a funeral service will be held at Southside Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10 A.M. Amy will be laid to rest in the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas at 5 P.M. that evening.
