Bobby Ray Tubb was born May 11, 1973 in Madisonville, Texas to parents, Elgan Ray Tubb & Sharon Lee Richardson. He was raised in Centerville, Texas and attended Centerville High School.
Bobby worked most of his life as a roughneck. He had a great sense of humor and always thought he was a very funny person, even if sometimes he was the only one laughing at his jokes. He liked to have fun and saw humor in everything. Bobby loved playing his guitar and singing. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was great around children and loved all of his family.
Bobby passed away February 16, 2019 at his home in Streetman, Texas at the age of forty-five years. He is survived by his daughters, Sadie Layne Tubb of Buffalo and Hailey Rae Tubb of Humble; father, Ray Tubb of Streetman; mother & step-father, Sharon & Les Wooley of Centerville; brother Joey Tubb (Tiffany) of Magnolia; sister, Tabitha Foster (Craig) of San Antonio; grandson, Kaceon Leroy Tubb and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the New Salem Cemetery Chapel in the Centerview Community of Leon County. Bro. Charlie Young will officiate the service.
Walters Funeral Home in Centerville is entrusted with arrangements.
