Eula Dee Topsy Brown, 93, went home to her Lord and Savior on April, 15th 2017.


FUNERAL: April, 19th 2017 at 11 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Burial following at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. prior to services at the funeral home.


Topsy Shadix was born in Leon County, on October 4, 1923. She graduated from Centerville High School at 17, then moved to Dallas to go to business school.


On August 14, 1953, she married Marvin W. Brown. They had two children. Topsy believed in working hard, but always found time to have fun. She enjoyed traveling, camping, playing dominoes, and spending time with family.


Topsy was proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years, Marvin Brown, one brother and three sisters.


SURVIVORS: son, Alvin Brown and wife, Angela; daughter, Martha Berry; grandchildren, Michelle Hahn, and husband, Josh, Lee Brown, and wife, Grace, Travis Brown, and wife, Molly, Alicia Brown, Ryan Berry, and wife, Emily, and Nathan Berry; great-grandchildren, Zane, Marissa, Austin, Aubree, Darcy, Maverick and Jean Topsy; Sister, Margaret Holmes, and husband, Mutt.


MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the building fund at Harwood Terrace Baptist Church at 3420 Brown Trail, Bedford, TX 76021.
