Joseph Dewitt Robinson

Joseph Dewitt Robinson was born on January 10, 1961 in Pasadena, Texas to J.B. & Nelda Ruth (Haggard) Robinson. He worked as a carpenter most of his life and truly enjoyed building things. Joseph also liked fishing and hunting. He had lived in the Centerville area off and on since 1985 and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County.

Joseph passed away on August 27, 2017 at his home. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; brothers, James & Rayford Robinson and sister, Terri Gilmore. He is survived by sons, Joey & Derrick Robinson, both of Splendora; daughters, Brandy Proctor, Lauren Hawkins and Randi Robinson of Splendora and sisters, Marion Barbee (husband, Billy) of Centerville, Elaine Lippard of Arkansas, Ruth Brown (husband, Bobby) of Centerville, Darlene Alexander (husband, Chester) of Cleveland, Charlene Cole of Centerville and Nelda Dawson (husband, Gary) of Livingston. Joseph is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial services for Joseph will be held at a later date.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas is in charge of all arrangements.
