Leola Doreen Smith

Leola Doreen Smith was born April 15, 1926 in Quinter, Kansas to Andrew B. & Ethel (Porter) Mosher. She worked most of her life as a seamstress. Leola loved to sew and especially make quilts. Her greatest joy was going to fabric stores. Leola had lived in Centerville since January of 2007, coming from Peoples Valley, Arizona.

Leola passed away July 27, 2018 in Bryan, Texas at the age of ninety-two years. She was preceded in death by her son, Teddy Howard Jones. She leaves behind her sons, Tommy Jones (Jackie) of Antlers, OK, Jay Jones (Chris) of Sun City, AZ and Harry Jones of Honey Grove, TX and her daughters, Theresa Knipe (Rick) of Centerville, TX, Patti Wolfes (Fred) of Anna, TX and Charlette Wlodarczak (Gary) of Ector, TX. Leola is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

A private memorial service for Leola will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
