Sara Nichole Eckhoff

Funeral services for Sara Eckhoff, age 35, of Centerville, and formerly of Tyler, will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Pastor Ren Watkins will officiate the service, and interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Monday, October 8th at the funeral home.

Sara Nicole Eckhoff was born February 12, 1983 in Tyler, Texas to Bobby Eckhoff & Sandra Kay Henderson. She worked as a caregiver and had lived in Centerville for the past six months. Sara enjoyed reading and taking care of her children. She also enjoyed talking and visiting with people and loved music and dancing.

Sara’s life was tragically cut short on October 4, 2018 in an automobile accident near Jewett, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Ward. Sara is survived by her father, Bobby Eckhoff (Patricia) of Centerville; sons, Caden & Camdon “Maddox” Sand of Lufkin; daughter, Sophia Eckhoff of Lufkin and sisters, Christina Watkins of Shreveport, LA, Jennifer Eckhoff of Whitehouse and Heather Eckhoff of Tyler. She is also survived by grandfather, Alvin Thane of Centerville and step-grandmother, Danna Bishop of Fashing, as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
