Walter Avery Kuehn

Walter Avery Kuehn, 58 of Madisonville, Texas Passed away September 13, 2016 at home. Walter was born on September 23, 1957 in Houston, Texas. He was born to Loraine Dyer and Walter Grayson Kuehn. Walter grew up in Cypress and attend St. Marys University in San Antonio where he studied to be a Chef. He later worked for a union where he worked setting up shows and big events in the San Antonio area.
Walter loved fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors. He liked music and cooking. Walter was a family man and his family said he was a special type of character.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Grayson Kuehn and son, William Julius B.J. Kuehn. He is survived by his mother Loraine Kuehn of Madisonville; wife, Cynthia Cedeno Kuehn of San Antonio; daughters Tracie Kuehn of Madisonville and Casie Kuehn of San Antonio and also by a special friend, Brena Luthe of Madisonville. Walter is survived by three grandchildren, Brian Julius Tijerenia, Anthony Roth and Kayla Rose Kuehn.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Madisonville Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Hoke presiding. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm in the Perry Cemetery near Cypress, Texas. Visitation hours are from 3 pm to 5 pm Sunday September 18 at the funeral home. Madisonville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
