Adam E. Vezorak was born December 24, 1936, to Stanislaus and Priscilla (Kominczak) Vezorak in Roans Prairie, Texas
Adam fell asleep in death April 22, 2026, in Buffalo, Texas
Adam married Virginia on June 12, 1954, and they spent sixty-one years together until her death. Together they raised five children.
Adam and Virginia began studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968 and were baptized together on July 23, 1969. Adam served as an elder in the Humble South congregation from 1972 until 1996 when he retired to Gause, Texas. He then served as an elder in the Cameron congregation and in 2024, when he moved to Buffalo, Texas faithfully served until his death. He was very zealous in the ministry and helped anyone he could to encourage them to learn about Jehovah and his truths.
Adam worked for the Houston Belt & Terminal as a Rail Traffic Controller for forty years and many of those years owned a construction and remodeling company in Houston. From a very early age he taught his sons how to build, and they all became very accomplished craftsmen. After retirement, he loved to farm and raise cattle. Anyone who knew him knew he was a very hard worker, and loved work and the outdoors. Adam will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Survivors include children, Barbara Mitchell (John), Mike Vezorak (Phyllis), Paul Vezorak (Aurora), and Greg Vezorak (Frieda); fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Adam was preceded in death by his parents, Stash and Priscilla Vezorak; wife, Virginia Vezorak; brother, Phillip Vezorak; and sister, Helen Tyler.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1518 North Buffalo Avenue, Buffalo, Texas 75831.
