Alexis Ramiro Gonzalez-Melo, age 17, passed away April 10, 2024.  A day of visitation in honor of his life will be held from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M., Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. He will be laid to rest in Landa de Matamorros, Queretaro, Mexico at a later date.

Alexis was born May 6, 2006 in Landa de Matamorros, Queretaro, Mexico to parents, Ramiro Gonzalez Hernandez and Laos Melo Trejo.  He had worked as a tree cutter for the electric company.  

Alexis is survived by both of his parents; partner, Andrea Borrego; daughter, Danae Arisbeth Gonzalez; brothers, Rafael Gonzalez and Dario Gonzalez; and sister, Keyli Gonzalez.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as extended family.

Arrangments are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
