A funeral service celebrating the remarkable life of Betty Carol Smith, age 80, will be held 2 P.M., Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Centerville, Texas.  Pastor of the church, Tuffy Loftin, will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery.  A brief visitation will take place from 1 P.M. to service time, also at the church.
