Billy Jean Hudson was the oldest of five siblings born to the late James Hudson and Estella Windham on April 4, 1946 in Mississippi.

Billy, later in life, moved to San Francisco where he began his thirty-four years of his truck driving career until his health failed him in 2020 when he retired.

Billy Hudson met and married Ruby (Davis) Hudson on February 14, 2008 in Houston, Texas.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, James Hudson; his mother, Estella Windham; his brother Sylvester; his daughter, Gladys Sherman and grandchild, Jamar Anthony Lake.

He leaves to cherish his memories by his loving wife, Ruby Hudson; best friend, Glen, two brothers, Jerry Rankin & Jeff Windham; one sister, Diana Windham; three children, Billy Hudson Jr, Cleve Sherman, and Anesia Hudson; one stepdaughter, Tammy Henderson (John); one stepson, Glenn Henderson Jr.; grandchildren, Demetrius Tafereal Hill, Naomi Hudson, Cleve Sherman, Jr., Robert Sherman, Amanda Sherman and Samantha Sherman; step-grandchildren, Jacobe Henderson, Alexis Henderson, Reyne Nelson, Charm Henderson, Skylar Henderson, Paige Henderson, Chole Dupree and Jeremiah Nelson; great-grandchildren, Camrey Black and Layla Nelson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Billy will be greatly missed by all who loved him. We all will cherish his memory with prayers and loving thoughts. May he rest in Peace.

Homegoing services for Billy will take place 12 noon, Saturday, January 8, 2021 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. A brief visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 A.M. to service time.
