Brent was born on September 18, 1974, in Crockett, Texas, to his loving parents, Larry and Dale (Luedke) Dorman. He was a graduate of Centerville High School. As a lifelong resident of Leon County, Brent embraced the values of hard work, integrity, and a genuine love for his land and animals.

Known for his expertise in ranching and horse training, Brent shared his passion and knowledge with his father, forging a remarkable partnership and bond in their shared profession. Beyond his work, Brent had an amazing kind gentle spirit and a great sense of humor. Fondly, he would enjoy looking at pictures of cows, guns, and deer, relishing in the memories. In his younger days, Brent found solace and joy in fishing, often spending hours on the water from sunup to sundown.

Brent's heart belonged to his large family, especially his children. Although circumstances limited their time together, his love for his son, Kyle, and his daughter, Kadence, knew no bounds. He held them dear to his heart.

Another passion that brought Brent immense happiness was his love for music. As a member of the Cowboy Church of Leon County, he found solace while singing in the band through the melodies and the fellowship it brought. His voice touched the hearts of many, resonating with the shared faith and values of his beloved community.

Brent will be fondly remembered for his compassionate spirit, his dedication to his family and his work, and his love for his cherished community. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, kindness, and a tremendous love for life.
