A funeral service for Chief Deputy Brent Walter, age 68, of Buffalo, Texas, will be held 11 A.M., Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Centerville, Texas. Brent's son, Joseph Walter, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place prior to the service from 10 A.M. to service time at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
