Carl Edward Els

Carl Edward Els, age 67, of Centerville, Texas and formerly of Katy, Texas passed away November 12, 2022 in College Station, Texas. A celebration of his life will be held 12 Noon, December 3, 2022 at the Els' residence.

Carl Els was born May 26, 1955 in Houston, Texas. He worked as a service supervisor for a coil tubing company. In his younger years, Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carl was a devoted family man and most enjoyed spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. Carl's hobbies included classic cars and car racing. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors working on his property which he and his wife had owned since 2004.

Carl was preceded in death by his dear mother, Retha (Johnson) Els and brother, Kenneth Els. His surviving family members include wife of thirty-one years, Katie Els of Centerville; children, Jennifer (Els) Gilliam of Georgetown, Karen Ivey & husband, Derek of Cypress, Carl Els, Jr. of Crosby and Ryan Els & wife, Catlin of Centerville; grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey & Hudson Gilliam, Kayden Ivey and Harley & Harper Els; siblings, Donna Theis & husband, David of Mission, John Els & wife, Rhonda of Livingston, Randy Els & wife, Lisa of Katy and Anna Bierman & husband, Billy of Magnolia, as well as in-laws, Jeanene & Thomas Edwards of Centerville and special cousin, Beverly Phillips of New Ulm.
