Funeral services for Eugene Tolan, age 50, of Topeka, Kansas, will be held 2 P.M., Monday, November 18, 2019, at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place Monday from 12 Noon to service time at the funeral home.

Charles Eugene Tolan, Jr. was born February 4, 1969, in Houston, Texas. His parents were Charles Eugene Toland, Sr. & Carol Jean Gore. He was the eldest of three children and deeply loved by both of his parents. Eugene worked in various jobs throughout his life but always considered himself an artist, as he loved to paint.

Eugene passed away in the early morning hours of November 14, 2019, in Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol Gore. Surviving family members include father, Charles Toland, Sr. of Centerville; sisters, Michelle Mutina (Scott) of Centerville and Beverly Ewer (Pervis) of Tecumseh, KS; niece, Kaylen Ewer and nephew, Ryen Toland. Eugene is also survived by numerous extended family members.
