Funeral services for Darwin D. Copeland, 65, will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Tony Moye, pastor of First Baptist Church, Centerville, Texas, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Marquez Cemetery, Marquez, Texas. A brief visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Darwin Copeland was born September 24, 1956 in Hearne, Texas. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars and was an excellent cook. He passed away March 12, 2022 in Huntsville, Texas.

Darwin was preceded in death by his mother, Nona “Darline” Johnson; maternal grandparents, Worth & Etta Boyd and aunt and uncle, JoAnn & Andy Ferguson.

Surviving family members include sister, Reta (Ricky) King of Centerville; nieces, Sarah & Kathleen King, both of Centerville and step-father, JW Johnson (dod, 3-19-22)
