Denise Lynn Clepper, 62, from Centerville, Texas passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026.Denise was born on June 7, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was a loving mother to her two daughters, devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren, and supportive sister.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Henry and Gertrude Jones; mother, Patricia Boykin; brother, David Austin; brother-in law, Marcus Lemons; and nephew, Jamie Austin.

Denise was strong, independent, resilient, empathetic, and generous. She had an infectious way of sparking a conversation and making friends wherever she went. She worked as a hairstylist most of her life and created works of art that she shared with others through poetry and crafts.

Denise had many roles throughout her life, but her favorite was being "LuLu" to her grandchildren. Whether she was cheering on the sidelines, decorating cookies or curled up for a movie night, she made lasting memories that her grandchildren will cherish forever.

She is survived by her father, Tony Boykin; sister, Deborah Lemons; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Cody Harrison and Chanda and Corey Boling; and grandchildren, Teagan, Emmalee, Braelynn, Hunter, and Berklee.A funeral service for Denise Clepper will be 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Rev. Patricia Lund-Pursley will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
