Edward Don Perkinson was born June 25, 1937 in St. Louis County, Missouri to Roy Edward & Ruth (Roark) Perkinson. He worked as a lawnmower repairman most of his life. In his younger years, Edward was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was also a handyman and had enjoyed working on remodeling jobs in his home.

Edward had lived in Centerville for the past year, coming from Willis, Texas. He was a member of Covenant Church in Willis. He passed away December 4, 2019 in Centerville, Texas. Edward was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Ted Perkinson.

Surviving family members include wife, Joy Perkinson; son, James Perkinson; step-children, Janet Speagle, Rita Lasure & Ronald Speagle; brother, Wayne Perkinson; sister, Becky Reynolds and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as, five great, great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for a later date.
