Elizabeth McCormick Wilcox, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, in Bryan, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 27, 1932, in Baird, Texas, Elizabeth lived a rich and fulfilling life, marked by her deep devotion to family, faith, and the joy of serving others.

For nearly five decades, Elizabeth was the proud owner and operator of Elizabeth's Cake Supplies in the Euless area, a business that became a staple for those seeking to create sweet memories through baking. Her passion for cake-making was only matched by her resolve to educate and support her family; she tirelessly encouraged her grandchildren to read and pursue their education, instilling in them the values of hard work and perseverance.

In 1955, Elizabeth married her beloved husband, Bill Wilcox. Together, they established a warm and loving home in Euless, where they raised their children: Wanda, Billy Mack, and Jackie. Elizabeth's family was her pride and joy, and her unending love for them illuminated every corner of her life. She found further joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, celebrating each new milestone and fostering connections that spanned generations.

In 2009, Elizabeth fulfilled a lifelong dream by returning to her childhood family home in Leon County, a place where her roots ran deep and where she cherished the memories of her grandparents. Proud of her heritage and the legacy of her family, she lovingly nurtured the bonds that tied her to the land and its history.

Elizabeth was actively involved in her community, serving as a member of First Baptist Church in Centerville, Texas, and an Eastern Star member. She also contributed to the Oak Crest Woman's Club during her years in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area, passionately engaging in activities that fostered community spirit and support.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill Wilcox of Centerville; daughter, Wanda Whitley of Centerville; son, Billy Mack Wilcox of Centerville; daughter, Jackie Olsen (Gary) of Centerville; grandchildren, Adam Whitley (Brandy), Angie Warren (Larry), Andy Whitley (Melissa), David Horton (fiancé, Lisa), Chris Olsen (Meghan); great-grandchildren, Hailey DiFabio (Chris), Alex Whitley, Rachel Ream, Tori Joslin (Chris), Emily Warren, Ayden Whitley, Brody Whitley, Chaney Horton, Kylie Horton, William Olsen, Elliott Olsen, Russell Olsen; and great-great-grandchildren, Warner DiFabio, Ava Ream, Braxton Ream, Elizabeth Ream, Carter Horton.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her mother, Willie Mae (Ward) McCormick, and father, Walter McCormick.
