Eric George Jackson

Eric Jackson, 57, of Huntsville, Texas, passed away peacefully the evening of August 12, 2020 in Houston, Texas. He was born October 5, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Ray & Marjorie (Ranft) Jackson.

Eric had lived in Huntsville for the past twenty-four years, coming from Houston. Throughout his life he had worked as a refrigeration technician, medical technician, electrician and once owned a small restaurant. Eric was a self-proclaimed “Home Improvement Engineer” and enjoyed tackling home improvement projects and remodeling his home. He also loved trains and collecting model trains. Additionally, Eric held a fondness for various varieties of orchids (as long as he had someone else to take care of them).

Eric was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his husband, Edward Clark of Huntsville; brother, Mark Jackson & wife, Donna of Mt. Enterprise; nephews, Ray Jackson & wife, Jordyn and Taylor Jackson and a host of Edward’s nieces and nephews who will greatly miss their “Uncle Eric.”

Memorial services for Eric will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Mark Jackson will officiate the service. The family will welcome friends and family for a brief visitation before the service at 10:30 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
