Ezekiel Edward Suarez

Ezekiel Edward Suarez, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on April 7, 1985, in Houston, Texas, to loving parents Edward Jr. and Theora Marie (Goodwin) Suarez. He left this world on June 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and countless cherished memories.

Raised in the vibrant and bustling surroundings of Houston, Ezekiel graduated from Chavez High School, where he laid the foundation for a life defined by camaraderie and connection. His heart found fulfillment as a waiter and server in the food service industry, where he began his career as a busboy and worked his way up to becoming a cherished bartender, waiter, and server. A true people person, Ezekiel reveled in the opportunity to meet new faces and forge friendships, sharing laughter and stories with every interaction.

Ezekiel's passions were as diverse as his friendships. An ardent fan of Marvel movies, he found particular joy in the whimsical character Groot from "Guardians of the Galaxy." His heart was equally drawn to the playful spirit of German Shorthair Pointers, embodying the love and loyalty he cherished in life. A lover of movies and music, Ezekiel was never one to shy away from the culinary adventures that life offered, enjoying the flavors and experiences that came with trying new foods.

Ezekiel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward G. and Josephine Suarez; uncle, David Robert Suarez; and faithful dog, Bowser. He is survived by his devoted parents, Edward Jr. and Theora Suarez of Centerville; his beloved sister, Desiree Bertrand (Joseph) of Damon; his niece, Keira Bertrand; his nephew, Tobias Bertrand; and best friend, Valarie Ramirez of Katy, as well as numerous extended family members and special friends he had come to find over the years. Ezekiel's vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

In honor of Ezekiel's memory, a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Matthew Prine will officiate the service.

As we gather to celebrate Ezekiel's remarkable life, let us find comfort in the connections he fostered and the joy he shared with us all. Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
