Franklin Lane Erwin was born October 6, 1933 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to parents, Shelby & Beatrice (Cahoon) Erwin. He was raised in McKeesport and later received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as, a Law degree.
Frank was a true engineer and loved to build things. His garage was constantly full of tools used to make various items that Frank had on his mind to make. He loved his neighborhood and the families who resided along with him in the area. Frank always made sure he had snacks available for the local children. These children, in turn, knew who to come visit when they needed refreshment during the day. He also kept a fresh supply of cold drinks for the city and trash workers. Just like the neighborhood children, Frank liked to keep his own family’s freezers full and stocked. He was a connoisseur of online food shopping, as this was his favorite item to gift his loved ones. He loved having gatherings which allowed him to order food online, as well. Frank was absolutely a most generous man!
