Freddie Clyde Howle, 77 of Centerville, Texas passed away March 1, 2023 in Caldwell, Texas. He was born September 11, 1945 to Jewel Banks & Sallie Chloe (Steed) Howle at home in Yantis, Texas.
Freddie served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 as an SPC 4 during the Vietnam War. He married Beverly Dianne Bostic just a few months following their graduation from high school on August 2, 1964. Freddie was a long haul truck driver, driving for many companies, such as Koch and Barrilleaux Construction and retiring in 2004 after more than fifty-seven years on the open road.
Freddie was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years, Beverly Dianne Howle; both of his parents and brothers, Billy Jack & Doyle Howle.
He is survived by sons, Mike (Kelli) Howle and Paul (Jami) Howle all of Centerville; sister, Debbie Landers of Sulphur Springs; sisters-in-law, Peggy Carpenter of Centerville and Judy Howle of Frisco; grandchildren, Kalynn (Brandon) Ralph; Amanda (Kellen) Lee, Bryce Purcella, Koy Howle (Victoria Tollett), Savanna Howle, Trampass Howle and Si Howle; great-grandchildren, Cannon, Kaisyn, Brayden, Kollin and Gasden and nephew and nieces, Larry & Brenda Maynard and Beverly McConnell, as well as numerous extended family members.
A memorial service for Freddie will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Centerville, Texas. Pastor of the church, Tuffy Loftin, will officiate, assisted by Grady Manning.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, Centerville, Texas or a Veteran's organization of choice.
