Janet Kay Glud

Janet Kay Glud, age 78, passed away peacefully in her home August 8, 2022. She was born May 30, 1944 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Marvin Strain and Retha Jewett. She worked in the purchasing warehouse for Westmoreland and had lived in Limestone County for the past thirty years. Janet enjoyed working in her flowerbeds and loved having plants all over her home. She and her husband, John were members of Little Flock Baptist Church.

Janet was preceded in death by both of her parents and sister, Sondra. She is survived by husband, John Glud of Jewett; son, Roy Wood, Jr.; step-sons, John Glud, Jr. of Sulphur Springs and Robin Dale Glud of Elkhart; step-daughters, Jeanie Shiner of Flynn and Alana Sue Wright of Lake Livingston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of Janet's life is tentatively scheduled for 1 P.M., Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Little Flock Baptist Church. Rev. Jack Hardy will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
