Judith Annette “Judy” Hulsey passed away on August 28, 2026, in Centerville, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas to David K. and Imogene (Grimsley) Hulsey.

Judy’s life reflected a commitment to learning and personal growth. She received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University, an accomplishment that stood as an important part of her journey and one that reflected her dedication and determination.

Judy was a devoted and faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Buffalo, Texas where she was involved in a number of church activities.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her first husband, Bob Parton; her second husband, Mike Bell; her brother, Jerry David Hulsey; and by her great-grandson, Waylon Rask.

Judy will be remembered with love by her family. She is survived by her son, Jared Parton of Azle, Texas. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Caleb Parton of Corsicana, Texas, and Haley Parton of Fairfield, Texas, as well as her great-grandchild, Anson Rask. She is also survived by her sister, Becky Shuttleworth and her husband, Chuck, of Texarkana, Texas; her brother, Michael Hulsey and his wife, Marissa, of Springtown, Texas; and her brother, Larry Hulsey and his wife, Carolyn of Springtown, Texas. May her memory remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 11 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Buffalo Funeral Home, 249 Humphreys Road, Buffalo, Texas 75831. A memorial service will follow that same day at 2 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1518 North Buffalo Avenue, Buffalo, Texas 75831.

A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home, 850 North Cardinal Road, Azle, Texas 76020, followed by the funeral service from 2 P.M. at the same location. Burial will follow in Azleland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shane Higgins will officiate both services.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas -- A Walters Family Funeral Home.
