Judy Fielder, age 81, of Leona, passed away May 14, 2018 at her home in Leona. A graveside service has been scheduled for 10 A.M., Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas.

Judith Lynn Fielder was born August 11, 1936 in West Frankfort, Illinois to William & Dorothy (Downen) Brandon. She worked as a hairdresser most of her life. Judy married her late husband, Gary, on December 31, 1977 and shared thirty-nine years together until his death in 2017. Judy enjoyed gardening and was a very organized person. She was also a family oriented person. Judy’s family always came first in her life. She had lived in the Leona area for the past fifteen years, coming from Conroe, Texas.

Judy was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Gary Fielder and a twin sister. Surviving family members include sons, Jerry Sturm, Jr. (Gretta) of Oklahoma, Dennis Sturm (Cheryl) of Goodrich and Randy Sturm of North Carolina, as well as, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and extended family members.

Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
