It is with heavy hearts yet joyful memories that we celebrate the life of Kim Darsee, who departed this life unexpectedly on November 7, 2025. Born on August 14, 1954, in Gary, Indiana, to George and Wanda (Boothe) Patterson, Kim was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of many.
Kim's journey brought her to Centerville, Texas, where she resided since 2010. A talented individual with a passion for creativity, she proudly owned a hair salon, worked as a bank teller, worked in a clothing store, and served as a monitor for a security company. After a fulfilling career, Kim retired in 2002 to travel with her beloved husband, Herb Darsee, on his work assignments. Known for her love of the outdoors, Kim cherished camping, fishing, and spending quality time at their cabin in Houston County, where she was always victorious in friendly fishing contests with Herb. She also adored lounging by the pool in her younger years, soaking up the sun and laughter. Kim was an avid fan of the beloved TV show "Yellowstone" and embraced every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
Kim was preceded in death by both of her parents; son, Jason Darsee; great-grandson, Noah Gaston; and brother, Danny Patterson.
Surviving family includes husband, Herbert "Herb" Darsee of Centerville; son, Shane Darsee (Terri) of Mont Belvieu; brother, George M. "Butch" Patterson (Linda) of Pierce City, Missouri; sisters, Patty Patterson of Beach City and Charlene Earle (James) of Utah; grandchildren, Taylor Darsee (Luis), Cailyn Hamilton (Trey), Haley Darsee, Trevor Darsee (Janin), Evan Anglace, Alexis Neubauer (Evan), Tristen Darsee, and Brenna Darsee; and great-grandchildren, Grayer, Sadie, Wyatt, Ian, Ivy, Logan, and Stevie.
