Funeral services for Lynn Cothran, age 66, will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, north of Centerville. A brief visitation will take place before the service from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lynn Max Cothran was born September 24, 1953, in Pasadena, Texas to Max Gerald & Bonita (Burnett) “Bonnie” Cothran. Lynn was a graduate of Rayburn High School in Pasadena. He married his sweetheart, Carla King, August 30, 1985. Lynn had worked for Ameriflex Rubber & Gasket as a Director of Delivery.

Lynn was an active member of his church and enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the praise band for a number of years. He was also an avid reader of World War II History books. Lynn passed away peacefully at his home in Temple, Texas February 12, 2020, following a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Gerald Lee Cothran.

Lynn’s surviving family members include wife, Carla Cothran of Temple; children, Eric Cothran (Lauren) of Pearland and Erin Mansour (Timothy) of Mobile, AL; brother, Cody Cothran (Veronica) of Bullard and grandchildren, Tate, Grayson, Eva & Vivienne.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.
