Madisyn Alynn Franks

July 19, 2001 — August 26, 2020

Madisyn Alynn Franks was born on July 19, 2001 in Bryan, Texas and unexpectedly left this earth on August 26, 2020 in Conroe, Texas.

Growing up on East Beaver street, always surrounded by family and friends, was an adventure to say the least. Anyone who knew Madisyn knew she never shied away from a good adventure, and was often not only involved, but the ring leader. These experiences attributed to her light-hearted, fun loving personality. Madisyn, also known as Maddie or GaGa (a name given to her by Grant when he was a baby), loved to have fun. She loved to dance and as a kid was always making up dances with her cousins and friends. She also loved sports and was a natural athlete. She ran track, although we all know how she felt about running, and played most sports, including tennis, softball and basketball, but her true love was volleyball. Madisyn enjoyed hunting, riding buggies and spending time on the family land. She liked for those around her to be happy, even going so far as to take her great grandmother on joyrides around town without permission from the rest of the family, of course. She had an affinity for those who needed help and was always bringing home strays, animals and people alike. Her love for and faith in the Lord was strong, as she would often say, “Don’t worry. Me and God’s got this.” Let’s remember her words in the difficult days ahead and know- God’s Got This.

Madisyn is survived by her father, John Franks; mother, LeeAnn Franks; step-father, Brian Roberts; brother, Grant Franks; step-brothers, Brady and Brant Roberts; step-sister, Megan Roberts Melcer; grandparents, Johnny and Kay Franks and Howard and Patrice Coots; great grandmothers, Elaine Simmons and Elizabeth Coots; uncles, Matt (Alicia) Franks and Jasen (Shawna) Coots; cousins, Levi and Emmy Franks and Jaselynn and Brynleigh Coots and the East Beaver Street crew including special cousins, Averi Hancock and Tara Goolsby, special friends Kaylee Pate, Taylor Brown and Naja Whaley, as well as a host of other extended family and friends.

Madisyn was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Hamp and Jackie Franks, Harold T. Coots, and Barney and Mary Johnson and aunt, Misty Alynn Franks.
