Marrianne Hardwick

Marrianne Hardwick, age 78, was born in Atlantic, Iowa, on August 25, 1938, to Charles Chuck Francis & Barbara Jean (Sherman) Osborne. Her father was a construction engineer so the family moved often, living in Iowa, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, and Illinois; after moving to Texas in 1951 living in Dallas, she then lived in Longview, White Oak, and Rockdale before arriving in Houston.

Marrianne graduated from Aldine High School in 1956. After graduation she lived in Houston, Waco, and Arlington raising her five children. In later years she lived in Dallas working for many years for Richland College of the Dallas County Community College District. After retirement she moved to Keller, Texas, and partnered with her sister to create Catherine Annes Antiques in Old Town Keller, where she finally had an opportunity to enjoy her splendid creative and artistic talent.

In 2003, she met the love of her life, Jim Hardwick of Lamesa. They married on November 12, 2003, and moved to Madisonville. She was a volunteer at the Madisonville Hospital and a member of the Friends of the Madisonville Library.

Surviving family members are her husband, Jim Hardwick; sister, Cathie Jackson (husband, Earl) of Keller, Texas; brothers, Charles Rusty Osborne of Grand Prairie, Texas and John Osborne (wife, Sharon) of Idaho; sons, John Grusendorf (wife, Wanda) of Moody, Texas, Richard Grusendorf of Munger, Texas, David Grusendorf (wife, Joetta) of Waco and Douglas Grusendorf of Corsicana, Texas; and daughter, Mary Beth Wiley (husband, Paul) of Dallas, Texas. Marrianne is also survived by her step-son, Mike Hardwick (wife, Carol) of San Antonio, Texas; step-daughter, Elaine Lambert (husband, Winston) of Los Altos, California and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A public visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Madisonville Funeral Home at 1511 East Main Street. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Patricia Wehn-Glowski will officiate the service, and a private interment will follow.

Madisonville Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
