Martha Virginia Wall

Graveside services for Martha Virginia Wall, age 83, will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Texas. Bro. Tony Moye, pastor of First Baptist Church, Centerville, will officiate the service. A viewing will take place from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.

Martha Virginia Wall was born June 20, 1936, in Franklin, Texas to Fred & Mary Ann (Taylor) Gressett. She lived most of her life in Leon County and was married to her late husband, Wyman, thirty-six years. Martha loved playing dominoes with her friends and enjoyed visits with her grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by her family.

Martha passed away April 27, 2020, in Centerville, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Wyman Wall; infant daughter, Virginia Ann and siblings, Doyle Gressett, Slim Gressett, Vernon Gressett, Sybil Goolsby and Bessie Gressett.

Surviving family members include sons, Frank “Bubba” Ticknor of Lubbock and David Glenn Ticknor (Leslie) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; daughters, Sheila Orear (Steve) of Kosse and Shirley Dale Schneider (Randy) of Waller; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
