Graveside services for Margaret Nobles, age 80, of Centerville, will be held at 1 P.M., Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Galveston County Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas. Brenda Anglin will officiate the service. A public visitation will take place on Saturday, December 3rd from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas.


Mary Ruth Margaret Nobles was born on April 14, 1936 in Aquilla, Texas to Lloyd Robert & Hulda (Lueck) Bessire. She retired from AT&T after thirty-five years. Margaret had lived in Centerville for the past nine years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville. She passed away on December 1, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness. Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Joe Canada and daughter, Shellie Danell Canada.


Surviving relatives include husband, Joe Nobles of Madisonville; step-daughter, Diana (Jerry) Boatright of Santa Fe; brother, Kennard Bessire of Buffalo and several nieces and nephews.


Walters Funeral Home in Centerville is in charge of all arrangements.
