Michael Remi Evans, 50, passed away unexpectedly November 15, 2021 in Madisonville, Texas. He was born April 27, 1971 in Galena Park, Texas to Donald Paul & Sharon (Person) Evans. Michael was raised in the Houston area and attended St. Thomas Catholic High School.
Michael was very talented with his hands. He could make just about anything he set his mind to and enjoyed fishing. His favorite activity was tinkering with his go kart and mini bike. Most of the time Michael could be found having fun on his “toys” with his best friends, Lance and O.J. When not outdoors, Michael spent his time inside, always barefooted. He watched his favorite shows, “Counting Cars, “Street Outlaws” and “Homestead Rescue.” He genuinely enjoyed his life in the country. Michael also made many friends through his job at Woody’s Smokehouse in Centerville.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Donald Paul Evans, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by mother, Sharon Evans of Normangee; daughter Alysha Marie Evans of Porter; sister, Nicolle Baines & husband, Nathan of Normangee; life partner, Betty Revis of Normangee; children, Billy Revis and Betty Shantel of Nacodoches and granddaughter, Farrah Brynn Nobles.
A memorial service honoring Michael’s life will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, December 4, 2021 with visitation following until 3 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Fr. Joseph Lourdusamy will officiate the service.
