"I will love you forever +1 day."
Phillip Bryan Morgan was born September 24, 1948 and passed away August 29, 2016 at 67 years of age. Phillip grew up in Madisonville, Texas and graduated from Madisonville High School. Phillip was an honorable, compassionate and loving man. He was a loyal son, brother, husband, father, uncle, Grandpa Phillip, Poppy, Pawpaw and friend.
After 29 years in the workforce, on December 30, 1996, Phillip went to work with Triad Electric and Controls, a division of The Newtron Group. What started as a job grew into a passion that resulted in a successful business venture with colleagues becoming family. He retired from Triad as the Vice President and General Manager on December 31,2014.
Apart from work Phillip enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren and had many hobbies. He spent his time camping, golfing, and woodworking but what he enjoyed most was spending time on a lake wetting a hook. Two of the many valuable life lessons that Phillip left his family and friends are that there is nothing we can't do if we try hard enough and that it is important to take the time to let people know that they are loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Georgia Morgan. Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Deena Morgan whom he promised that he would "love forever + 1 day", his oldest daughter Shellie McNabb and husband, Devlyn "Bo", son Stanton Morgan, daughters Kimberly Morgan and Heather Lowery and her husband Scott. Phillip cherished his grandchildren Morgan McNabb, Shelby Morgan, and Keegan Lowery, and by his brother Randy and wife Yvonne, nephews and friends.
