Robbie "Laverne" (Tubb) Hill, 74, of Centerville, Texas, died April 20, 2024.  She was born October 11, 1949, in Ennis, Texas to Charles Thomas Tubb & Clara Mae (Wilson) Tubb.

Laverne loved being around friends and family.  She also loved to be outdoors, fishing and working in the yard.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Burleson & wife, Shannon and Jonathan Burleson & girlfriend, Brooke Colca; grandchildren, Matthew Burleson & wife, Samantha and Katelynn Burleson; great-grandchildren, Bryson Burleson and Abryella Burleson; plus numerous nieces & nephews.

Laverne is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Hill; sister, Linda Jane Franklin; son, Royce Gaylin Burleson and brother-in-law, Earl Franklin.

A gathering of Mrs. Hill's family and friends will begin at 11 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 12 P.M. (noon), Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at New Salem Cemetery Chapel in the Centerview Community of Leon County, Texas.  Mrs. Hill will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bob Hill, in the New Salem Cemetery following the service.  Rev. Bobby Wayne Burleson will officiate the service.
