Roberto Arturo Lima, age 70, of Centerville, Texas passed away at his home in Centerville March 6, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born October 6, 1952 in Guatemala to Juan Antonio Lima & Candida Bonilla.

Roberto and his family had lived the past ten years in Centerville and he was employed by Bucees in Madisonville, Texas. In his younger years Roberto had lived a brief time in New York City making and selling jewelry.

Roberto will fondly be remembered, first and foremost, as a family man. He loved spending his time with them. He was a man with a great sense of humor and enjoyed to listen, as well as tell his own jokes. He was a giving and generous man and selflessly helped others in need. Roberto was also a very intelligent man who loved learning and reading about new things. Lastly he enjoyed to travel and try new foods on his journeys.

Roberto was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by wife of twenty-seven years, Juana Lima; children, Robertoito Lima, Alberto Lima, Ana Lima, Jose Lima and Andrea Lima; brothers, Oscar Lima and Alvaro Lima; sisters, Rosa Melida Lima, Elva-Mirtala Lima, Aura Lima and Ana Luisa and grandchildren, Anthony Lima, Gabriel Lima and Isabella Lima, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Centerville, Texas. Committal services will follow in St. Leo the Great Catholic Cemetery. A vigil will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. with a rosary recited from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
