Sherrill Denise Graham passed from this world into the presence of our Lord Jesus on the morning of September 5, 2025.
Sherri is survived by her loving husband, Michael Graham; cherished daughter, Lauren M. Pate and husband, Shane M. Pate; beloved sons, Weston M. Graham and Grayson C. Graham; brothers, Bill Sutton Jr. and Brad Sutton; sisters, Lisa Carlan and Lindsey Pilgrim; grandchildren, Dustin Pate, Kaylee Pate, Hayden Pate, and Casen Pate; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Sherri was born to William Cleveland "Bill" Sutton and Belinda Ann Hodges (nee, Pace) on December 28, 1962. Sherri graduated from China Spring High School in 1980 and was a proud member of the old Jo Betsy Dr. gang, reminiscing fondly of her time spent with friends growing up.
After graduation, she married her soul mate, Michael Graham, and they shared the joy of raising three beautiful children and several foster children whom they loved like their own. She loved to fish and to spend time on the beach or in the mountains of Colorado. Sherry captured almost every moment taking photos no matter where she was or what the occasion. She thoroughly enjoyed time spent with friends and her church family, who have lifted Sherri and her family up continuously in prayer and support. She never waivered in her faith in Jesus throughout her cancer battle, only hoping that it would somehow lead her family closer to the Lord. She often referred to her childlike faith (Matthew 18:3). Her smile and laughter would light up any room she entered and she never met a stranger.
We are comforted that she is no longer suffering and is in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
A special thanks is extended to the church family at LIFEChurch and to all friends for the prayers and comfort given to the Graham family, as well as the Hope Lodge in Dallas whose hospitality and kindness provided can not be thanked enough.
