Those connections were a meaningful part of her life and a lasting reflection of the kindness and encouragement she shared so freely.

Sherry Lynn Jones, née Lambright, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Bryan, Texas. She was born on September 10, 1960, in Ohio, and will be remembered for her strength, her caring heart, and the deep love she gave to both people and animals throughout her life.

For many years, Sherry served as a dispatcher for the Brazos County Sheriff's Department, a role that reflected her steady presence and commitment to others. She also found great joy in teaching and volunteering for the Chapel Christian Academy, where she formed special bonds with her students that she cherished. Those connections were a meaningful part of her life and a lasting reflection of the kindness and encouragement she shared so freely.

Sherry embraced the things that brought her happiness. She enjoyed scrapbooking and looked forward to weekend retreats with fellow scrapbookers. She also loved going on cruises, which were her favorite vacations. At home and in daily life, Sherry loved her animals and treated them as family, a simple and beautiful expression of her generous spirit.

Even through more than twenty years of health challenges, Sherry remained a fighter and never let those struggles get her down. Her resilience was an inspiration to those who knew and loved her, and her courage will be remembered alongside her warmth, devotion, and enduring faithfulness to the people in her life.
