Tad Lemaster, Jr.

September 30, 1946 — May 12, 2024

Buffalo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tad Lemaster, resident of Buffalo, Texas since 2005. Born on September 30, 1946, in Rawl, West Virginia to his loving parents, Arnold Sr. and Tella (Hall) Lemaster, Tad's journey on this Earth came to a peaceful close on May 12, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tad was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife, Masami Ann Price, their bond solidified on September 1, 1990. With a career spanning over nineteen years as an Underground Construction Project Manager at Garver Construction and numerous years as a corrections officer at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he exemplified hard work and dedication in all his endeavors.

In his moments of respite, Tad found joy in the simpler pleasures of life. His passion for old cars and Harley motorcycles was evident to all who knew him. Adorned with a spirit for wanderlust, Tad adored the thrill of traveling, particularly cherishing his journeys to witness the northern lights, a sight that never failed to captivate him.

Throughout his life, Tad's mantra of showing up early or on time, working diligently, and extending a helping hand to his peers defined his character. Among his cherished memories was his triumph in the 1959 Little League West Virginia Championship, a testament to his tenacity and dedication.

Tad's memory will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, compassion, and zest for life will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him.

In honor of Tad's life, a ceremony to celebrate his memory will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and bid a heartfelt farewell to a remarkable soul. Let us remember Tad with fondness and gratitude for the light he brought into our lives. May his spirit find peace in the embrace of eternity.
